2000 gle i am at a loss

My 2000 Nissan, which I love, is showing it's age recently, and I have had to fix things that are general mainly, but recently it has been acting like it has an electrical/charging problem that is beyond my knowledge apparently. It will not charge, and has a parasitic drain of almost 5 volts. I have performed the test of pulling fuses, and even disconnected the alternator for confirmation it is not a diode, and the drain remains. I love Nissans and have had everything from a Sentra to a Hardbody and never had anything like this. Even the rough idle on start that seems to be pathalogical to this model is not enough for me to not love them, but this is confusing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
