I have a 2000 frontier and it's overheating and losing alot of coolant towards back of motor on the bottom. Someone suggested it might be a heater hose but I'm not sure. Anyone have any ideas or had this problem before. I don't think it's water pump cuz water pump is towards front from what I can tell and mine is losing coolant back alot further. Thanks I need to fix this asap because now I'm driving a kid back and forth to work since this is his vehicle.

Heater hose or a bad freeze plug - My money would be on a heater hose, tho.

If you're familiar with the routing, you can temporarily bypass the heater core as a "cheap fix."
