I may be getting a hard tonneau cover for my truck from my buddy for free.

Only problem is its from an s10. I figure it couldn't hurt to test fit but I wanted to know if anyone has done this before?? Do they even make hard covers for the D22's??

I normally don't like them but right now the tonneau cover on it is a bit worn and doesn't lift which is way more a pain in the a** than I expected it to be.

If it works, this may be an option if they don't make them for our trucks. I'll make sure to post pics either way so you all know!!

Maybe you can check with the manufacturer of the cover.

I'm not really sure of the manufacturer but it FITS!!!

Check it out:

It is like a 1/4 in short so it JUST rests on the lip of the front of the bed.

I'll have to fill these gaps on both sides where the plastic bed liner ends with some of that foam strip stuff. Here is the space that is open:

Its missing a key but I'll get a new lock for it.

Snug on the tailgate!!

Here is the only real damage:

The other corners are scratched but this corner (passenger front) is missing a sliver. I'm going to take it home in a few weeks and have my uncle fix it and paint match it.

I don't know if I'll keep it for sure but I know that for free, I'm gonna use it for a while!! haha

The one major advantage of it over my vinyl cover was that it lifts up. My other cover also had some tears in the corners.

I like it so far though!!
