Hello there i have a little problem i encountered the other day. I did and engine replcement on a friends 2000 altima with the KA24de, everything went great minus one bump in the road. i got the new engine in, but now i cant even get a click out of the starter. I have bench tested it and it tests out fine, i have brought it in, and it tests fine. I tested the signal wire that goes to the starter for voltage and i got nothing. I have 12+ volts at the main cable going to the starter but nothing to the signal cable. I have tried to start it in neutral and in park and i get the same results. I have only found 3 grounds on the engine in the bay one being on the driver side of the head that goes to the battery tray then the battery. The other two are ontop of the intake manifold for the injector harness and other sensors. Am i missing one? I was suspecting the nuetral safety switch to be the issue, but like many times before i like to get opinions and answers along with my own diagnostics and whatnot. If anyone else has any suggestions please feel free to throw them out there. Any help is appreciated.
