2000 Altima Speed Sensor location?

2000Altima

I just got a 'check engine' light and after checking it out it stated that my speed sensor was 'failing'Occassionally, WHen I drive, my speedometer and tachometer goes 'nuts', and freeze of just collapse down to zero.

WHere is this sensor located so that i can check if its loose.

any ideas?

i am having the same problem but the check engine light is not lighting. The guages go up and down once the car heats up. Please help

could be a loose connector, nothing that the ol' wiggle test can't check out.
