Hi everyone,

I need help with how to resolve issue of this cracking sound from my car's rear woofer. When I play a song with beats, the speaker kind of make bursting noise. I want to spend no money for this at this point. Please let me know if there is something I can do or maybe a mechanic for 10 to 20 bucks since I am a student and want to save money. Other than beats, my speakers are fine. By beats, I mean low frequency signal.

Your help would be appreciated.

Regards

It sounds like the rear woofer is blown. The only thing you can do is disconnect or replace. It is possible to see if the woofer just came unglued to the cradle and reglue or find some way to pin it down, this doesn't always works, but if you don't care to much about it, give it a shot. Just know you may possibly ruin it completely.

Have you tried turning down the bass?
