I had a P0420 code.. so I replaced the converter with a after market one , now i get numerous trouble codes. odometer doesn't read.. interior lights don't work, key fob don't work, it does not idle right and will stall.. check engine light should be on with all these codes but now wont work.. did I make a mistake by not disconnecting the battery prior to replacing the converter... what to do now?.. I disconnected the battery hoping it resets itself.. what could be the problem here?

I believe my unified control unit board is bad..no turn signals wipers no gauges work at all.. My bad.. forgot to disconnect battery cable prior to catalytic converter install, as I had to remove alternator and cooling fans to remove exhaust manifold.. possible i shorted something out somehow? or is there a fuse to look for?
