Just signed up looking for some advice. Im looking to buy a 2000 Altima GXE with 85k miles. Now what attracted me was the price, which is set at $1000. I know the going price for them with that much mileage is like $3000 plus. I talked to the lady and she is the first owner of the car. Asked her if everything is original (engine, transmission, etc..) and she said yes, everything is original. Its never been in an accident and body is mint. She said all the maintenance has been done and she has all the paperwork. I started doing some research before going and actually looking at the car, and have found the intake manifold gaskets going bad on them are the main problem. What other issues are there with this gen? From what ive found are these issues:
1) instrument cluster Unified Meter Control Unit
2) failure of the Thermo Control Amplifier for the A/C
