2000 Altima Grill/Grille

New to the site, so bear with me. I'm trying replace the front bar between the headlights on a 2000 Nissan Altima(the one on the grill). I see where the four nuts are but they just spin. I have looked at the workshop manual and anywhere else I can think of. Can anyone e-mail with some instructions on the best way to accomplish this? Should I be removing the whole grille first? How is that done? I feel like it SHOULD be much easier. Thanks!
