When cruising on highway I loose power to the wheels and there is no throttle response and all power comes back in just a couple seconds. And now it seems this can happen in first gear too. I'm not sure whether it would be the AT or maybe ignition loss? I'm not loosing any other electrical components though. As soon as someone lets me know if the AT test for the 240SX will work on my car, I will give it a go.

I would check the MAF plug first - Our Pathfinder did the same thing.

May as well clean the MAF while you're at it, which means removing it, spraying it with brake cleaner, and reinstalling.

During idling, grab the wires going into the MAF plug and wiggle them. If the idle changes, there's your culprit.

I checked the MAF plug and wires and found no difference. As I haven't cleaned the MAF though.

A freind suggested that is seemed like the battery. So I went to a parts store and asked the guy to test. He uses a computer cuircuit voltmeter and comes up with .5v WTF? If this were correct wouldn't the car not crank? But it did! Does this seem right?

And yet another freind noticed the anti-thefty device sticker on my window. He mentioned that removing the battery in my car may disable the ignition or something...

**AutoZone pulled code PF0100 MAF so I guess i have to clean it now. We'll see what happens.

Please lead me to the light
