I ordered this dash kit for my 99 Q and i got the wrong kit. The guy wont take it back or refund my money. i bought it for $130 plus $10 shipping. The kit is exactly what i wanted. but sadly its the wrong color. This is the best kit i have ever seen so i bought it. Especially the glove box part, i have never seen that elsewhere, so take it off my hands so i can get a new correct one.

That color is the Anniversary Edition Wood, it is the only wood that is actually real, its birds eye maple, they may have put it in later years of infiniti but that was the big change in the anniversary edition, but the parts are not OEM, the biggest piece of wood that you have there that covers the area around the clock and climate controls and stereo area is not wood on the stock model, mine is black in that area. At first when I saw it, I thought Id be nice on my car, but after I ran out there to imagine it, I think it would be WAY over kill on the wood, borderline tacky, but thats just my opinion

Get your wood from Jason Burtman. He's hooked me up for my Q45 and my Range Rover at reasonable prices. You can even pick and choose specific pieces instead of ordering the whole kit.

It was standard interior trim on all 2001 FGY33.

Well this has many pieces that most other kits do no provide. Like this you pay once and get whatever you want on the car and later on when you want to add all you gotta do is clean peel and your done instead of waiting for it to ship. Thats all this is a good price for it. ill take offers but nothing too low since i want to buy a correct kit. if you see the guys ebay listing he put the correct color as my dash but in real life its way lighter. Buy this ya. you can even sell the parts you don't want ...

Jason's been a member of the forum for years, and as Brian said he's a good guy to deal with. And I can definitely say that both the real and fake wood pieces I've purchased from him have been very high quality, backed by a clean and strong 3M adhesive.

Time to cut your losses and offer it up for $65 {1/2 price} if you want to unload it.

If the retailer wont satisy its original customer {YOU} by exchanging a brand new unused kit for the correct color.......how is he going to satisfy the person who purchases it from you later down the road if the wood discolors/warps/cracks, etc? Short answer, he wont- which is why you must drastically cut your asking price if you want to sell it.

I agree! The fundamental problem is it does not match the plastic wood used as trim on all but the 2000 ae and 2001 models.

If a member has one of these, he doesn't need the kit as he has the maple installed. If he doesn't,then kit would require wholesale replacement of interior trim.

Dealer should credit or refund you.

i have tried and he just plays games with me... i am taking losses due to being unemployed. ill take 100 shipped for it if anyone is interested...that's a $40 loss for me plus the $5.00 ebay fee..... But this kit is identical to dealer kits so i dont know whats all the fuss about...
