hey for those of you asking for 200 hp NA ka...http://www.gude.com

gude racing head package... I saw their racing package for the ka24de, and was curious so I called

and they told me their head package includesintake manifold, throttle bodycustom camsport/polish on alotta stuff, don't really remember all the stuff she said

and also they said it'd give a 40% in hp increase...so I did the math, say I'm getting 130 at the wheels, that'd be about 52 hp increase....kinda hard to believe...

all of this for $2150-500(core)=1650... that's w/ shipping

I dunno it seems this is kind of hard to believe, any thoughts on this?

yea, their cams are about $600 w/o the core charge, and come to think of it, all the aftermaerket cams are expensive like whoa, and i'm just thinking putting in some 91 cams, which I heard are pretty mild, and won't put out more than 4 or 5 hp at the wheels... any1 w/ experience on the 91 cams?

i have 91 cams in right now and u do feel the difference. i had i/h/e before then sold the intake and headers. then i put int he cams with stock intake and exhuast manifold and they made up alot for the headers. not as big of a difference as with headers but kinda close

Would it be best to leave the Gude cams or change them out with say PDM stage 1 cams?

how big of a difference do the 91 cams add? they are the wildest of the stock cams, but they are still pretty mild compared to others...

they have to be a lil mild to be put it from the factroy. not many people want to buy a car that is goin to have a lumpy idle.

they are however a nice upgrade for the money if u have an s14. if u want to spend the extra $400 to get pdm cams i'd say go for it. i would if i wasnt goin turbo
