So everyone is clear on the 20" sport wheels...there is a difference in the rear reliefs sometime after 2011-2013. I have not found out the exact year. You can only run 20-25mm spacers on the newer years. They have space for the stud so the spacer/wheel/hub sits flush. I also think the offset is a little different on newer models...but can't confirm.

On my 2015 Q70S I ran 15mm front and 20mm rear - I had to do the stud replacement kind. I can only get a 25mm on my 2018 Q70S in the rear. So I have 25mm back and nothing front now. I was going to do the stud replacement kind again - but then realized i'd be stuck with that sport wheels. So if I bought used GTR rims...the spacers would have to be swapped again. When I tested my 25mm there was ridiculous poke.

Nissan always has to make the simplest thing difficult. :/

Does anyone have pics of the rears of their 20s? I'm trying to determine what year they made the adjustment. From the Facebook group a guy sent me a pic of the rear of his refinished 2013s - and they are different than mine with a much deeper relief. I sold some parts to a guy - and his was a 13- and he had no issue just popping on 20mm spacers. Flush up front. Not with my car.

Thanks in advance.

I have a '13 M56xS, my sorry wheels had no relief, Ok matte 1-2mm that's all

I also had '07-08 M sport wheels that had the relief holes in them.

Infiniti is one of the most inconsistent Co out there.

Here is a relief on a guy who is selling his rims on a forum...and my 2018 with a 25mm put on for a test. You can see the poke is ridiculous and why I took it off before even tightening the lugs. lol

I am wondering if they changed the hub. I don't remember my hub on my 2015 being black...it also seems a lot deeper.

I've never heard of relief on wheels. Are you talking about offset?

Park, if I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it.

Those are the same relief that are on the M35/45 sport wheels. Mine have zero relief, Ok maybe 2mm.

Satown, if you look at the pic above that shows the back of the wheel, the relief is the holes next to holes meant for the lugs, if that makes sense.

The pic I uploaded is from a guy from the Facebook group. He just had his 20s refinished and is selling them. I asked him to snap a pic of the wheels rear and this is what he sent. Its not the first time I've seen it. So weird. Maybe they have 2 different vendors?

You need to lower your car. I have 25mm all around with Sport alloys and they will tuck inside the fender.

I just bought some GTR wheels from my local GTR tuning shop - and they have very deep reliefs. Its so weird. I'm going to look into getting the stock 20s machined taking a few mm out of each relief the size of the lug head.

With the GTR wheels I can run any bolt on spacer - 5mm to 30 with no issues. Unlike having to do the bolt replacement kind.

Pain in the a**.

So I can't just get a set of 20in Sport wheels and bolt them straight on?

We are talking about reliefs due to adding spacers...not just swapping wheels.

20" wheels bolt straight on to the stock hub. Its when you add spacers (5mm up to and under 25mm) that there is an issue. 25mm and up it is fine. With the GTR wheels I have 15mm front and 20mm rear. I cant run those on my stock 20s as the reliefs aren't deep enough to allow the wheel to sit flush with the spacer.

Make sense now?

20mm MIGHT work, there is a very shallow relief in mine that may accommodate the 20mm's.

I have 25mm spacers on my car and at first I didn't like how much they stick out but I think it looks aggressive on the car.

I think 20mm might be perfect but I'm not sure.

Good luck

Andy if you ever install those BC coilovers 25mm is where you want to be at.

20mm would be good but i can confirm that if your Sport wheels don't have the relief, the wheels will not touch your wheel hubs.

Any issues with just drilling the relief a bit deeper?

I would go to a wheel specialty shop and ask them, they should be able to do something like that for your set. I would print off the wheels in the above mentioned post and let them see what they look like.
