Hey all. New owner of 06 M35X. Looking into getting alloy or chrome rims as my M is custom painted silver. I will go as low as 20's and as much as 22's. I also want to drop the suspension but curious to what everyone thinks. What does every prefer and why? I noticed that 20's look good on M's when dropped but 22's look much better. I think as long as you have good suspension the ride wont be that bad. I only use my M on the weekends to cruise, not a daily drive. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Thanks,

I think 20's look best...22's are a little too large for my taste...although I did run 21's on the car before and that wasn't bad...

If you do a search, you will see some pictures of M's with large wheels ... :yesnod

Of course, what looks good to you may not look good to others - this is a personal preference thing I suspect!

I've had 19", 20", 22" all have their own reasons... 19" make the car sit super low to the ground with the right suspension but will scrape a lot!! 20" give it the perfect stance, fill the fender pretty nice and look natural on the M!! 22" would be great on a daily... They full the wheel well perfect!! They sit up high enough to clear speed bumps, parking stops, and most driveways... They do not make the M look 4x4 so that's a big plus!! Since you're are AWD, I would stick with a square set up but many have gone staggered!! :gotme good luck and enjoy!!
