I have a 05 coupe and i trying to come up with a good suspension rim tire combination i have two options in mind but not sure if it will work either staggered 19"s 8.5 in the front 9.5 on the back and a drop with eibach pro springs kit (can't afford coilovers now)or 20"s staggered 8.5 on the front 10 on the back same springs tire would either be a 275/30 on the back and 245/35 on the front or 245/35 on the back 225on the front any suggestions are welcome and pictures would help stance is very important hate the gap between fenders and tires.

Try to stick with sizes close to factory. Going with 20's and 10" rim, would affect your braking considering the weight. Also kills gas mileage, if that bothers you, as well as reduced acceleration. I stuck with 19's : 245/40/19 with 8.5 in the front and 255/35/19 in the rear, with 9.5. I also have the eibach pro kit. In my opinion, 19's look a lot better on the coupes and sedans than 20's do.

Are you on coils or springs? I'd say it could drop a little bit more

I wouldn't drop it anymore as it looks like he already had rubbing issues on the fronts during aggressive cornering. Look at the last pic just above the top of the tire on the fender you can see damage...

No, just springs. The car is a lot lower thanyou see in the pics. I have no rubbing issues. The fender is from "buffer Burn", from the idiot previous owner who decided to use engine cleaner on chrome wheels to clean them ( my old set)

I also have all fenders rolled, and the rear quarter panel fenders. agrressive driving isnt really a problem. Speed bumps are, my y-pipe tend to hit them often.

Haha my car used to scrape on everything when I had oem 17s. I have the oem 19s now and I'm surprised at how much of a difference it is. I can go over the same bumps I used to scrape on with no problem now.

I like the look of those rims, can you tell me the make and where I could find similar. Also I had questions on the size reading this thread. Like you eluded to, I don't want to mess with gas milage, braking, transmission, rubbing or any of the other stuff you can mess up by going too big. What specs would be good for this car? I don't think I want to lower it as some of the drives I go in and out of already cause me to rub if I don't hit them at the right angle.

Anyway here is a pic of the car.
