I am considering putting 20's on my g35 (20x8.5 in front and 20x10.5 in the back) I heard some problems have have happened with the g35 in this situation with ABS and the ECU. If I get all the nessasary camber kits will I be ok? or will I deal with problems like these? also what offset should I be looking for to keep the wheels as center as possible and will I need longer studs? thanks!

By the way its a 07, dunno if that matters or not.

You should specify whether it's a sedan or a coupe, that makes a world of difference for wheels.

The key is to make sure the ratio between the front and rear tire diameters needs to be close to the ratio between the diamaters of the front and rear stock tires. This keeps the VDC and ABS happy.

It completely depends on the type of wheel you are looking for. Generally speaking if you are running big brakes, you want to run between a +20 - +30 offset. The pad height will matter too. Also the center bore for the coupe is a +66mm so you don't want to get a wheel that is smaller than that. If it's bigger you should get hub-centric rings.

I have a set of 20x8.5" Stern wheels going for $499 brand new. While not optimal for the G35 you can still fit a 255 tire on the rear, and I just fit them on my G coupe with Brembos, they fit fine.

Cheers,

What model 20's do you have on it? Shopping for new 20's after buying a set only to find they won't clear the front Brembo calipers. Tried spacers but in order to clear caliper couldn't get the lugs on securely. Offset doesn't seem to matter as much as spoke shape. My wheels were listed as being compatible but they aren't so need to really know from someone who has them already running.

Hope I didn't cut your legs out from under you Trug... I just picked up a set of 19" TSW's from a member in the Q45 forum. They are sweet, and look amazing on my G Coupe!

I run 20x9 and 20x10 +25 with 245/35's and 255/35's with Z swift springs and no issues. I didnt install the tire pressure sensors so the dash light only comes on after about 50 miles of highway driving, goes off after the car is off and never comes on for driving around town and stuff. I think im going to add 15mm spacers all around because the wheels are a little sunk.

Hello all. Maybe someone out there might be able to help me with a wheel and tire question. I have just recently purchased a 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan and I am looking for some aftermarket wheels and tires. I would like to hear from some people that have already fit-up a wheel/tire package to this vehicle. The stock wheels and tires are: Front = 7.5" x 18" wheel and 225/50R18 95W Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tire. The Rear = 8.5' x 18" wheel and 245/45R18 96W Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tire. F&R bolt pattern = 5 x 114.3. I believe the lugs are 12 x 1.25 pitch (2006?) I don't know what the stock wheel offset is. What I am looking at for wheels and tires is: MRR Design Wheels.(www.mrrwheels.com). I want to use the GT-1 "Black". Front size would be 8.5" x 19" (1 in/up) with a 35 offset and a 245/40R19 tire and the rear would be a 9.5" x 19" (1 in/up) with a 45 offset and a 275/35R19 tire. This combination would increase the width of the tires, F&R, by .5" inside and outside. Would this work with the stated offsets? Would there be proper clearance to the fenders and brake assembly? Would these tires mount up to these wheels? Has anyone out there actually tried this combination on a 2007 G35 Sport Sedan yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated before I order this wheel/tire combination.
