20" rims need to get calibrated??

Stupidd as$ cop pulled me over merging from another freeway . Saying i was going 86 , i was going traffic flow, i even has to slow down for a mini van to get in front of me, when i just merge into the other freeway. He said that i need to calibrate my rims cause it seems im going faster that what it says in my MPH .. is this true?

I think he was just jelouse that my car was look good. Lol
Should i fight it?

If your tire/wheel combo is larger/smaller than the stock diameter, it can cause issues... minor though.. how fast was the speed limit, what did you think you were doing?

what size tires are you running? you should be on something like 225/40 or 245/35 if you wanna stay close to stock heigh and not have speedo misreads

GO here and input your OEM tire size and aftermarket tire size. It will calculate how slow or fast you are running.

Was going 70-75, just following the trafffic flow. And my tires r 245/35/20...

that's pretty close to stock, you are going a bit faster though, 3.3%, so when you're going 75mph you're actually doing 77.5, but that shouldn't be enough for a cop to pull you out of traffic. he probably just picked you out since your car is modded and just giving you crap about bigger rims

A cop pulled me over one time because he thought my nose was larger than OEM specs. He suggested i get a gonzo or pinocchio vanity plate to correct this issue.
