Ok, i have a friend with an 11 sec gsx, he wants my t28 for his sentra spec V. So he's willing to trade me my turbo and some change for his 20g. He told me it's really laggy. Anyone with any experience with a 20g? I'm thinking about it instead of the t3/t4 route because he's gonna hook me up on the deal. Anyways, what exhaust mani flange size is the 20g? I plan on just having my old flange cut out and have a new 20g flange welded on to my mani.

You would need more specs on the 20g to be certain, but I doubt it would be laggy on a KA. His 4g63 is only 2.0L so you have quiet a bit more displacement to get it spooled up. If anything, I think it could be "too small".

I'm pretty sure that the Greddy 240sx (KA) turbo kit comes with a 20G.

I know of some guys that have tried Forced Performance 20g (DSM shop) turbos on their WRX's and STi's... on the WRX (2.0L) it's pretty laggy, but the STi (2.5L) owners always end up going with something larger. I realize that's a lot of far-fetched comparisons with different motors of completely different designs.

I think it could be a decent option depending on the actual turbo specs.

I'm sure someone more knowledgable could provide better info though.

I hit 10psi by 3500.

The WORK SR20 made 450hp @ 7,200rpm and 448lb-tq @ 6,430 @ 21psi with the Greddy/Trust TD06-20G

So it should be good for at least that on a 2.4L vr's the 2.0L

T3 huh, kool, i'm thinking about using the same crappy mani I have and welding a T3 flange by cutting the T28 flange off. Those numbers aint bad at all. My friend wants $300 and my T28, do u guys think it's a good deal, i'm sure i can talk him down to $250.

For that little money, I say go for it, especially if the turbo is in good shape.

IIRC, the mitsu flanges are not the same as T3 flanges
