Yet again, another nice write up Matt!

What is this problem with the muffler? How does replaing it correct the problem??

Are you doing the Ester Oil or did you go Synthetic?

How in the hell do you manage to keep the rubber for so long?? WTF??

There is an issue with the '08 mufflers of some baffle coming loose and causing a rattle. I may have actually caused it myself but others have had the same problem.

I do Synthetic via the local Infiniti dealership. The Service Manager has heard of Ester Oil but as of our last conversation didn't have a single customer using it.

My miles are mostly highway and I don't do donuts and stuff. Hell, on my Maxima I had 42k on the factory RE92's before replacing them :)

Great Review!!!
Half way thru it made me get up and go look at the silver/black 08 G37S w/12K miles the Chevy dealer is asking $29.4K for... The lady traded it in on a new z06 that was on the show room. And, the G looks show room new!!
I should stay away from here....Nico is going to get me in troubles.... :frown:

I also experienced a rattle in the instrument cluster. The dealership's technician stopped it by lubricating the mounting point for the cluster. It has returned and I plan to bring it to their attention at the next oil change.

You can avoid the rattle from the passenger seat belt buckle by looping the belt over the outer seat back bolster.
