Hey guys thanks again for the help the other day.I have one more question about my engine swap.As I stated I am installing a newer engine in a 92 q,They have different crank angle sensors the old style has 2 wiring connections, the newer one has one plug.If I adapt the connector to fit the newer style (ground, power, and the 2 signal wires)does this eliminate the need for the secondary harness?I originally planned on swapping to the old cas on the new engine but it appears they mount very differently.

CAS signals must match ecu type...................all ecu signals must be fed.

I dont know why it would matter, the signal is the same (because you can interchange ECU)... I have a 91 active ECU in my 94 Q45t right now.
