Could you elaborate on this a little bit? Why was it not reliable? Did it not hold the RPM settings or disengage?eh? wrote:The Pro version did. The datalogit has a function for anti-lag but isn't reliable.
What inputs and output wiring connections do these things need? I'm a newb to the 2-step systems.Chaos the Xile wrote:ok well i just bought a gizzmo launch interface unit, so i'll get that hooked up when it get here and have some fun
i think the bee-r ones only need 12v, gnd, and CAS 180, CAS 0 deg. but those are ignition cut only, no timing retard. i'm not sure how the fancier ones with timing retard are wired.Darius wrote:

The gizzmo unit looks so simple to install. The one question I have is, do you have to buy the "tach recall shift light" to get it to work or can you install the launch control separately from that.Chaos the Xile wrote:ok well i just bought a gizzmo launch interface unit, so i'll get that hooked up when it get here and have some fun
It's isn't the same as the two step. It basic function was to spool the turbo while out of gear. It did not limit rpm. The PFC yahoo group had more info, it's been a while since I sold mine.Darius wrote:
