2 RODS WTF

So i left school the other day and got on the interstate right off the on ramp next thing #3 & 4 rods went out of the block

definitly that im looking for a long block right now so i can pull this one out tear it down to see what happened to cause this

I once owned an Altima with a DE that had one rod come through the block. The previous owner was a college student who let the engine run out of oil.

Oh i can gaurentee it had oil in it. i was just commenting on the fact it threw 2 rods out the side of the block at the same time

found out what happened connecting rod stud failure
