I am mixed on the TPMS. I was driving the car 6 months ago to work on the very busy I10 through Houston and the light came on. I ignored it as I had a false alarm the week prior. Well, this time it was not a false alarm. I ended up with an obvious flat but had no choice but to drive to the nearest exit and finally stop in a safe place. Of course I ruined the tire but $80 well spent vs what could have happened by stopping on the freeway shoulder. Anyway, I now pay attention to the lights in the Versa and our other cars. Worse case is I check all the tires and one is a little low. Put a tire gauge in your glove box if you have not done so already. My two cents worth. Fredtama48 wrote:TPMS disabled? Yea wouldn't we all like to do that! LOL
My TPMS idiot light has been on for a year now. Since there is no idiot in the car I simply ignor it.daan wrote:1. Can the TPMS thing be disabled or shut off somehow, especially for when I get nice wheels this spring?Thank you
