ok, i have two questions. first, the other night i ran my car into a ditch after sliding through a stop sign in the rain, it just cracked the front bumper and bent the right fender out a little, not to noticable unless you look hard. but i am goin to get an sr20 clip soon, and i want to know if the bumper and fenders will fit on my 240 from the clip? also, the engine is making a nocking/clicking noise when I accelerate, it doesnt make this noise when it sits and idles, or i rev the engine up. and it idles low, about 700 rpm, and then jumps to 1000 for a min then drops back to around 700. thanx for any help.

the jumping and knocking may be caused by an idle air control valve, have you checked the timing

ya, the vaccum leak is more probable, feel and listen to all of the lines for rushing air.

those vaccum hoses are annoying, such tiny things cause such problems.

My guess would be that.

Another good way to find a vaccum leak is to spray wd40 on all vaccum fittings. If it hits a leak it will rev the motor slightly.

Sure the bumbers and fenders will fit, but wont you need headlights/headlight brackets and hood to go with that? I havent heard of mixing USDM front end with JDM front end but it may work since i know little about conversions. If you are getting a clip the body panels are usually heavily damaged. If you need a bumber and fender(s) I have them available for very very cheap, shipping will be different. There from a 93 and are primered black. I believe a FSM would have vaccum diagrams.

i didnt think about the headlights/brackets and hood. the only things that were damaged were the bumper and right fender. didnt really think about it as mixing USDM and JDM front ends either. how cheap do you have the bumper and fenders? i dont realy want to spend a lot of money on them, the front end isnt that messed up, just somethign i want to fix cause it is broken. this is probably a dumb question, but what does FSM stand for?

for the vaccuum hoses theres a trick. get a spray bottle and soap and water. spray onto all the hoses and run the car. it should bubble where there are leaks.
