1.. What should my VAC be at idle on the boost gauge in BAR ?

2.. Can the turbo stop spooling right after i turn off the motor, or should it spool for a little longer. Sounds kind of like when you turn off a saw. Could this be some shaft play?

If your turbo sound like a saw blade looks like it is a candidate to be swapped out for a S15 turbo.

you shoudl read negative boost at idle like -20mmHg

BB turbos make this sound or spinning sound when you turn the car off-- what kinda turbo do you have... granted it should not sound like a saw but it will spin for like a minute or two.

In General how much and how long would it take for a shop to install a new headgasket? I want to up the boost but I don't want to try and install it myself. Ill probably mess something up
