I was told the air cabin filter needed replacement. I asked how much and he told me the filter was $50! I told him to leave it as I would do some research to find a cheaper one. Lo and behold, I found one that was $12 at the autoparts store. Anyway, I'm having trouble figuring out how to open the white filter cover inside the glove box. It says to "push" to tabs but this does nothing. Anyone ever change this filter and if so, can you give me some tips?
2nd question is, do they sell a cargo net for a 2005 Murano? When shopping and putting things in the back, stuff moves around when driving. I've done many searches but nothing seems to come up, which, may be an indication that in fact, they don't have cargo nets available. Anyway, any info with this issue would be helpful as well.
Oh, and I decided to change all my wiper blades (front, no problem) but found the rear blade is more of a challenge. Do you have to take off the entire arm to replace the blade? Seems so. From researching this issue I've found answers to "if you take it to a dealer it's going to cost an arm & leg" to "just cut it off and RainX the back window." I like the wiper there though so I guess I'll try taking off the entire arm to change it. Hopefully no special tools are needed in order to do so.
That's it for now! Thanks for any help you are willing to share!
Since this thread is 3 months old and I just saw it (just joined the site), I don't know if you resloved your in cabin filter or rear wiper blade replacement issues.
If not, the procedures to do both are really simple - ie take only a few minutes each and require almost no tools (none for the filter and only a 10 mm wrench or socket for the rear blade). If you still need help, ask and I can explain both further.
