2 questions

First of all I am having some difficulty removing the egr fitting, i think, it the fitting at the back of the exhaust manifold, I searched and came up with heat the fitting up with a torch and immediatly take the 24mm wrench to it, i tried this with a propane torch and just ended up rounding off the only really useful end of the nut that I can get to, If there was only a way to get the 12 sided side of the wrench over it without totally destroying the fitting/line?

Second question, this might sound odd but has anyone ever heard of using womens pantyhose as an air filter? my bro said that its a pretty typical mod and he used it on his motorcycle, it sopposedly flows a lot of air, so much that his bike ran rediculously lean because it is carberated. Just thinking to my self it might be a possibility for a low budget/high performance air filter. I didnt search this one so it might already be proven, but I just thought i would throw it in.
