First question, what's the easiest way to remove my oil pan, I undid all the bolts and pulled the motor up about 4 inches but the oil pan seemed to be stuck where the end of it reaches the transmission bell housing. Do I have to pull my motor back out and remove the trans or drop the front subframe down?

Second question. I saw on Heavythrottle under the wire swaping info that you need to connect the brown wire to any 12V switched power source for the o2 sensor. My question is, what is the closest switched power source that I can splice it into. And I seem to have 2 brown wires, 1 on each of the plugs that the Heavythrottle write up says needed to be cut. Can I just solder these 2 wires together and be fine, or do I have to choose one to solder to a power source, or do I solder both of them together and splice them into a 12V switched power source. I'd really appreciate your help, cause well I'm a 16 year old n00b. Go figure. I just hate that I keep running into problems with this swap. Well thanks in advance guys.

to get the sump (oil pan) off you need to drop it down, and remove the oil pickup, then you can angle the sump to one side and slide it forwards, (the ladder bar will just fit through the semi-circle part of the sump like this) a rubber hammer and a prybar will be useful but don't force it too much as it should slide out fairly easily

For the 02, I just extended the original plug on the CA MAF (the only one that I noticed that was the same shape, with the same snap, and the same three plug configuration) and ran it over. If I read the wiring guide correctly, it's over on the USDM passenger side (assuming you put the ECU over there) on the same sort of branch type thing as the MAF plug.

Now you've got me all nervous hoping I didn't misplug it.

Edit: Well, just went to the garage. I have like two dozen spare electrical plugs here, which still really makes me leery. However, everything in that install FAQ is properly hooked up where it should be, and as far as I can tell, the plug coming off of the O2 sensor only mates up with one plug on the entire harness here. Still though, this whole "extra plugs" thing is ridiculous. What did all of this crap go to? Surely there's not supposed to just be a crapton of plugs all floating around with nowhere to go, right?
