I'm about to install some new door speakers into my GF's 2000 Altima and also a headunit she has.

How are the door panels held in place? What style clips do they uses, are they similar to Fords? Are there any other things I should look out for?

For headunit I will ask too many questions because I cannot picture the dash in my head and do not have her car to look at right now. Do I need to pull the whole dash or is there a center section that comes out. Does Nissan use special tools to pull out the headunit like Ford does? Are there any clips involved or is it all 6 and 8mm bolts/screws?

Again, my questions might sound stupid if they're "right infront of my eyes" but I never looked at her dash for installing her headunit, I actually didn't even know she had one sitting around to be installed.

door panels-screw behind the latch and in the armrest. the rest just pops off.

center console-only have to remove the center. pull up on the trim around the shifter. remove 4 screws from trim around radio. remove 4 screws from bracket. all screws are phillips.
