1. My "Air Bag" idiot light has been flashing "coincidently" since I got the car back from the Nissan dealer and the response was, "We'll, you need to replace the air bag unit"! Another web site had a "cure" that involved pressing in the light switch on the driver's side door seven times with the key turned halfway. Of course, that didn't work. Does anyone know if the ECU unit simply needs to be reset by an honest dealership? Okay, you can stop laughing now at that last reference.

2. I was at work late the other night and found a web site with .PDF versions of a repair/parts manual for a 1995 240-SX. I thought that I downloaded and saved it properly, but didn't and now I can't find the site! Anyone know of a web site that has the parts/repair manual available for downloading?

Good luck with the airbag light... Mine has been blinking for 3-4 years now... Infact it stopped once and it felt weard. Glad it started blinking again it was bugging me being off.

ok the airbag light only comes on when the system isnt working properly, it might be the control module, but it could also be something like an impact sensor, or just some wiring that is goin bad for whatever reason. Airbag and ABS systems are very touchy. If they arent working perfectly then they dont work at all, thats by design. If you want it fixed, find a shop that you trust and have them check it out. Depending on what 95 you have (OBD I or OBD II, OBD II being the easier to work with) that will determine how much hassle you are going to have fixing it

Yeah but being the OBD2 is only for emmisions that matters not. Hence why you have to reset the airbad blink by hitting the door switch.

Call up nissan, they should tell you how to reset the light with the door switch...

If nothing ells just get a 5 point and call it a day.
