took my stock 1981 280zx to the 1000ft dragstrip... it ran a 13.1 at 77mph, just wondering if this sounds about right for a stock n/a 280.i had trouble shifting because my shifter bushing is worn completly out... 2nd question is, does anyone know where to buy replacement bushings.

what was your et at the 1/4 mile? I've only ever seen 1/8 and 1/4 mile drag strips but I know canada does a shorter run, stock n/a in the 1/4 i believe would be in the 16 second range

as for shifter bushings, IIRC the shifter bushing s are the same as the ealeri cars, on which case chrysteer door hinge bushings are a great fit, you can get them at the help section of your local parts store, or if you prefer, courtesyparts.com or zcarparts.com should both have them

if you go by the 2 second rule it would make it some where in the 15 second range... so i guess its doing pretty good.. my 1/8th mile was 10.2 at 69 mph.

those times sound about right 1000 ft is only 400ft or so shorter than a quarter mile.
