2 Problems Need Help Please

Hey 2 Thingsfirst things first

not really problem just question...is the speedo. on a 1990 240SX mechanical or electronic?

and my clutch slave cylinder went, i tried a temp fix, which lead me to bleeding my clutch lines.

now someone told me that if i bleed the slave when i have a leak in the line I can screw up my master ...

(the problem is still not fixed, since no store in the greater toronto area carried a slave cyl. for a 1990 240SX, im fixing it tomorrow)

Its most likely electronic.. i could be wrong.. might depend on certian years..

as for the slave.. what would be a temp fix for a bad slave ? lol

fix it then bleed.. and your problem should go away..

master is most likely fine and can't be hurt by bleeding the system..

temp fix for the broken seal on the slave cyl. was hose clamping the boot down REAL tight and hoping it would take enough pressure to engage the clutch

which it did... thats how i got home.

but the problem is fixed now and my car is back to its rotting self
