2 problems I need help with.. a/c and wheel noise

Hi Guys,

I have 2 problems I need help with.

1) My a/c seems to be stuck on the windshield setting. I can move the settings back and forth to vents, feet and vents, etc. etc. but it still just blows on the windshield. How can I fix this? It is starting to get hot in Arizona!

2) This weekend I added that grease/jell on the back of the brake pad to keep it from making a noise that you could hear 2 blocks away when I hit on the brakes. However, there still remains a very faint squeek. This time without even hitting on the brakes. What do I have to look into now?

1) take the dashboard apart, and look into the air ways, and the mechanism. its probably stuckfrom dirt.How to take dashboard apart?? You just need 2-3 hours, 1.5 beers. and a patience. Nothing too complicated, its just screws.

oh you have to drop the steering wheel halfway to get the plastic panel out, in front of the wheel.

2) change your brakes dudeeeeeeee@!!! they are out. i meant the pads are out. its worn down otthe metal sound making thingy, the safety feature so you woudn't damage your $25 rotors. heh! well dah, my brake pads cost $40 dollars. yeah, since youre at it, just get some expensive rotors too.

the brakes are not gone. I checked and they are still looking great!!
