Well I finally got a z, after driven it all over the world and moving to Jacksonville with it, I got stuck in mud. LONG STORY. Well that night I was super stubbern, and was determined to get it out, especially because they were gonna charge me 160 to get it back onto the road. Well during this process I was going from 1st to reverse and and the transmission got stuck in a gear. The shifter looks like its in neutral and doesn't move except you can puch it straight down as if you were going to try reverse. I believe its stuck in like 4th 5th or 6th gear becuause it is a super high gear. Anyways i had to end up paying the 160 to get to the road and 140 back to my apartment lol. What do you thinks broke? The clutch seems to work like normal, push the clutch in and it runs, pull the clutch out and its back to the high gear. I'm hoping my extended warranty will fix it, but if its the clutch they won't.

#2 My rear speakers won't work, I romoved all the panels and sure enough the were there and plugged in, so I'm at a loss on why they won't work.

Thanks so much for any help.

It doesn't sound like your clutch is blown since you can get into the higher gears. I never thought I'd say this but the good news is your transmission might be screwed up!

I've been the super stubborn guy myself in situations similar to the one you were in and it's always cost me money. I don't know how much you drive, but with all your rides you might consider a AAA membership, it's some of the best peace of mind money can buy (and if you travel a lot the discounts you get from AAA membership will pay for your membership in short order).

No idea about your speakers, but if they both went out at the same time the likelihood of it being a wiring issue on the speaker end is close to zero. Did it happen at the same time as your transmission woes?
