2 Months of Ownership, and Here Is What I Think

I have always had a soft spot for S13s. My roommate my freshamn year (now one of my best friends) was a big time Muscle car fan, but I told him about the ways of FR Japanese cars and he fell for the S13. At the time I had a pristine 1991 RX-7 that I loved with my heart and soul. Sadly, she blew and I was in a bad spot, so I had to sell her :(:( Shortly thereafter, John (drifter sx to you guys) got a 1990 hatch and the jealousy began.

2 months ago, I found my coupe (don't get me wrong, I dig hatches, but I think the coupes are too damn sexy)

She has given me tons of crap, dosen't look too great (door dings and needs a paint job) , but runs like a champ. Every time I get out of her, I have a grin from ear to ear (and all the mods I have are in my sig) which is something that I can't say for my FC. Mabye it is because I am 1000% better at driving now then I was back then, mabye it is because I was a street racer with my FC and I love the curves w/ my S13, but I can't wait for more power and to finish my suspension. All of my buddies LOVE my car (2 of them have tried to buy it from me;)) but all in all, I love my car. We have a wonder thing here on our hands guys!!

I think I am going to cahnge my plans of selling my car when I graduate to buy a FD, and jsut go crazy with the credit and get an FD as well, cuz I never wanna sell my S13:)

i don't really like my car. My newly rebuilt engine just blew up after only having 1k miles on it and it's been alot of problems. After the engine is fixed under its warranty i may just sell it.

I got my car about 3 months ago... It's still basically stock because I'm still trying to rake in as much $$ as I can..

I do love it to death though...

I love my car, its so much fun to drive, my only prob with it is thats a auto, but hey now i can just romp on the gas and let it do the shiftin , anyway take it easy guys.

so far the only problems I've had with my car consist of: windshield wiper blade broke due to age (bought a $5 replacement today, good as new), and the stereo it came with sucked balls. Besides that I've never had a single mechanical or electrical problem with the car. I do tend to have a large grin on my face during and immediately after driving though

I know EXACTLY how you feel man. I remember test driving my car like a year ago, and feeling how well it fit me... Honestly driving the S13 I feel like the car is an extension of myself-- you dont get that feeling with alot of cars. Mine could look a little bit better, and my friends dont understand how I could love it so much... but thats cause they've never driven it. You're completly right dude- we have a GREAT thing on our hands.

240sx handles better than an FC? I thought FC was perfectly balanced?

in no way does a 240 handle beter than a fc stock vs stock at lest imo i own both but maby after mods i could see them bing about the same and no fc arnt 50//50 thay say thay are but thar not

I loved my car from the first day i got it. but a couple months after getting it the transmission went out and the engine started smoking bad....so in may i had to put her down for a while...hurt so much not to drink...but now she runs like a bat out of hell...the CA18DET really helped
