First I'll say I have no idea of the practicality of this, or the structural pit falls.
With that said, first get coilovers and extend them.
For the front, you can get strut mount spacers (or make them which shouldn't be hard), then you'd need adjustable control arms.

For the rear you'd have a couple options
A/ If you stay stock you'd need the same spacers, but you'd also need a spring spacer for the perch or something to sit in the perch to compensate for the height you want. This will become problematic because the perch is not that deep and I believe that the spring will slip out with use. Also it will be a hell of a time getting the perch back in place, if at all possible, after making that modification. Also, I think you'd have to make some type of modification to the "perch hinge" to lower that a little for this to truly work...use a kind of extension bar to drop it a little.
B/ get a full strut like the front to eliminate the need for the perch and simply do the same as the front. I don't think they make ones for the rear except for coilovers, so you'd need a coilover set.

That's my theory on raising the car to hopefully start the thinking.

The car already needs a drop when running 22's because the wheels make the car way too high. I cant even imagine wanting to run 24's and especially raising the car even more on top of that. Are you going to take turns at 1 mph?

Where I live, there is a company that specializes in this sort of work. I see lots of M's and other cars on surprisingly large wheels. I can't imagine what it does to the ride quality and I try never to be behind one of these cars when approaching bumps, railroad tracks, etc because they have to drive at 5mph when encountering them. Here are examples:

Just an opinion from a bloke who thinks even 20's look one size too big for our cars.

Actually the right set of 24s can look pretty baller on these cars. The cars are big enough to pull them off... I think 22s are the perfect fit and those 26s look like trash.

Yea Larz is correct you see a lot of cars that shouldn't be on 6's. I live in the Tampa bay area there was on 06 chameleon g35 on 6s a while back.

Here's the g35 I haven't seen an M personally on anything bigger than 20' but I'm sure it can be done. I'm sure Ace whips can help. Where are you located?

No need for a lift just get the right offsets/widths. I've seen one on 24's and it fit perfect more or less with no suspension modifications.

Non educated guess it was on front-24x8.5 - 30-40et Rear 24x9-10 - 35-40 offset. He never replied with the sizes.

A lift would be a horrible idea...

Welcome to the forum.

1) Please don't ruin your car with 24's...
2) If you MUST ruin your car with 24's...see LITERALLY the post above yours.

They said uneducated guess. I don't wanna order the rims and be stuck if they rub. I don't want to lift it and won't unless absolutely neccessary but want to know how it can be done and parts/cost before I start the ordering process

Skwirl, is it possible for you to go to a rim shop and do some test fitting? They usually have a way to test, I believe or for some of them they might have a few wheels to try on.
I understand what you're trying to do, but the largest documented size I've seen in our platform is 21". Maybe we can learn from your experience.

I wish there was. I live in a city just big enough to be called a city but still small enough to make anything custom, an "on your own" kinda process. There's a rim rental place but they don't even carry anything that big. No real custom shops that do that kind of work or anything.
I've came across people who have put 22"s on one with no modification so if I can find an option that will allow me to raise it 2" if it turns out it has to be done, I'll feel safe ordering the rims and of the lift ends up being required, I can then order it and go that route. I'll definitely post what the situation ends up being and how it works out. I just need somebody to point me to my 2-3" safety net lift option.

I wasn’t sure about the lifting so I just went with the 22”. Figured I would come let everybody know for sure that 22s will fit with no rubbing at all. I have 3 sons 17, 16, and 10. One plays football and I have yet to run at any speed even with all of us in the car on the highway and I can turn all the way with no rub as well. The ride is actually really good. It wasn’t so good at first when the tire pressure was 35psi but i hit a pothole and it was horrible so i increased the pressure to 44psi and the ride smoothed out and the pothole tolerance was a while lot better.
I had worn tires on factory rims the ride was worse than my 22”s are now by a good bit and I have the cheap tires on here so there's not a lot of change in the ride on regular pavement.
Hopefully this will help somebody in the future.
Here’s the wheel and tire size I can confirm, works.

My wheels are 22x9 with a +30 offset and the tires are 245/30/22.
No fender rolling or other modification, factory suspension

Does it give you the option to post the BBCode rather than just a link? If it does, just post it up below and I'll edit it into the previous post.

And... thank you for sharing your results with us. I am sure people are curious about these things.
