2 inch drop spindles

will 83 to 86 2" drop spindles fit a 1980 datsun 720?

well.... the fact they have a specific year on them makes me wonder if it would or not

my initial gut feeling is they will... because i was not aware they changed any suspension components from 80-86... but now i'm not sure lol

ok thanks because belltech sells some spindles for 1983 - 1986 so im not sure

The 1980 720 frame is the same as the 1978 - 1979 620 frame. Spindles are different from the 1983 - 1986 720, but I am not sure what is different. I do know that the 1980 720 did not have vented rotors & 83 - 86 did. I have a set of 1980 hubs & rotors & also a set of 1985 hubs & rotors. I will compare them tomorrow to see if I can tell any difference in the hubs that mighy indicate the differences in the spindles.
