I came across this thread:
nissan-hardbody-timeline-t568948.html
while searching the internet for information for my hardbody's. Was very interesting reading that thread.
We got one 1991 VGE30i, manual 4x4 King Cab that I'm currently trying to save and modifiyng for 36" -38" haven't decided yet. And the other one is a 1991 VGE30 automatic 4x4 King Cab, that's going to be a show car for my wife. We have 20" rims and it is going to be hot pink.
The thing is with those 2 is, that far as I know are the only ones left here in Iceland that were made in USA. Most of them were imported from Japan but few of them came in from USA through the army base. Both are fully ecuipped with "luxery" package such as power windows, sunroof and cruise control. Both have the red interior. The automatic one has absolutely no rust in it, (very rare in Iceland). But the other one, I've had to rebuild and replace alot of the body. The bed was very rusted forgot to take pictures while I was working on it. Still not much rust considering we are in iceland.
Here are some pic's of the one I'm currently modifiyng:
When we picked it up

Just love the red interior, was real dirty when we picked it up from sitting for almost 4 years.

put new rims and 33"

sanded and painted

How he was after that

The rear window leaked so we replaced it from a parts car we had

Little rust, cleaned it up and primed

New window

Made this my self. Don't know what you call it in america.

cleaned up primed and painted

Got 35" and put them on 15J8.5 rims fitted nicely under the original flares (I think they are called)

Started to clean up all the rust this summer found out the front fenders were ruined.
Replaced the hood from a 1996 king cab, the old one was very rusted and banged up.

"New" hood fitted on

working on painting the D21. Took everything of and out of him.

Here we started putting everything together again. the doors will be painted next summer. Have to replace the drivers door. going to use the doors from the 1996 D21

Found some very good fenders

Put new 36" Ground Hawk's under it. With a got help from my daugther.

This is basically how it stands now and waits for me to finish.

Sanded and painted the lights and brackets

Hope this is something you guys like. We will post pictures of the other one when we start working on him.
And sorry if my english writing isn't very good I'll try my best
