I'm in central Virginia and we got 26 inches of snow since yesterday. So today I've been using my Versa to transport people to the hospital and helping other stuck in the snow.

With snow tires on my Versa I have had no issues driving in snow covered roads up to 9 inches deep in spots. This is one of the best mannered cars on the road in the snow and the Michelin X Ice II tires are awesome as well.

Anyone else get big snow totals out of this snow storm on the east coast?

Last year, here in the west coast (Oregon), we got a pretty bad snow storm. Well at least it was terrible for us cause we are usually lucky to get snow other than these past 2 years.

I drove my Versa pretty far without chains on the stock crappy Conti's lol But now that I am lowered with performance tires I doubt I'd have such an easy time.

GOT got the Versa out today.... Not bad in the snow. Actually LOVE the lack of ABS.. VERY simple to modulate and I think I can stop just as good or better than an ABS equipped car.

The 08 3.5 Altima is not coming out for another day or 2

And the MAIN snow ride..

Gotta love the snow

Thank you steed77 I've help 21 people out of being stuck.

I also love the fact of not having abs and the CVT is awesome in giving the car enough traction to get through the really deep snow and iced over hilly roads.

Never had an issue with mine last year, had about 8" and it went fine without the roads being plowed.

Got about 5" this past weekend, but I dare not to take the G out, no traction at all.

Looks a lot like one that slid by my house yesterday while I was shoveling. One 4x4 had to be towed out of the ditch in front of our house, and I saw a few more having trouble. Yeah, lots of people can drive in show, but ice will get anybody!
