first off, i am not a ricer what-so-ever and my car has zero stickers on it. i just finished watching 2 fast 2 furious for the first time, and to my surprise, it was actually an entertaining movie. yes the cars were ricey, and yes some of the stunts were rediculous. i also realize that there were tons of mechanically incorrect scenes, but who really cares. overall i thought it was an entertaining movie. let me know what you guys thought.how did you like the movie?

I felt it was better than the first one, they didnt seem to be acting or trying so hard. Plus to me it had a little humor...Just my opinion tho.

I actually enjoyed the first one far more. Despite the glaring inaccuracies, it had something much closer to resembling a plot/story. Not to mention it was entertaining. The second one was god awful. Horrible acting, pathetic story, he traded in a Skyline for Lancer? EVO or no EVO. That = lame. And yes, Tyrese sunk the movie even lower than I thought it would go.

Er, not to defend the movie at all, but he didn't "trade" for the Evo VII, he wasn't given a choice.

personally i thought it was horrible, at first when the first one came out i like it, it got me into cars a lot more, but then i realised how inaccurate it was. I still think the first one is kinda entertaining to watch, but i thought the second one was just horrible, i mean from cars haveing little ejector seats, to cars jumping onto boats, if i wanted to see something like that, i'd go see a "Bond" movie.

It did what a movie is supposed to do: entertain. And I saw it at a good price: free.

lol, I know his character didn't actaully trade in the Skyline, just the change in the movie was unsatisfactory.

Writers' Thought Process: "Let's rice out all these nice R34's, disable their AWD, wreck a couple of 'em, then only actually play a miniscule part in the movie. Ooh ooh, then let's replace them with vehicles made by....Sh1tsubishi! Yeah!" :thumbd

Honestly, i thought the first one was alot better. At least the cars didnt look pre-fabed specifically for the movie (despite the neon, the black civics were pretty clean and good looking in the first movie). And ithe first one wasn't as cheesy.

The first race in the second movie was just the most awful thing i have ever seen in my life....

I liked the first one better, the second was entertaining sure but like the guy said before it reminded me more of Triple X or a bond movie. I rented that movie to see another god awfully inaccurate street racing movie and ended up with a miami drug movie thing.

Well, at least I can understand Paul Walker 99% of the time. By understand, I mean I can understand the english he is speaking, not anything that's going on mentally. Tyrese, on the other hand... I don't like having to turn and ask "Ok, what the hell did he just say?" every few seconds when he is talking.I do agree though, that Paul Walker won't be getting any Academy nominations any time soon :D

man paul walker is the biggest TOOL on the face of the earth! i cant stand that guy.. and its not just cuz of these movies either. but i liked the first one much better than the 2nd.. in fact i hated the 2nd one. lame story, lamer actors, and lamest cars ever for a movie that was so hyped up. i think they were trying to push that 'Brian OConnor' was a bad-azz stunt-drivin mofo.. but he just couldnt pull it off. i have to say it, im pretty sure ill hate the next one too... lets hope its the last

It wasn't all that bad. My expectations were not very high so I thought it was worth a rental. The second one had little to do with street racing though.

i agree, the second one was worse, it didn't really have much to do with racing or anything, but more about drugs.

and come on, haven't u ever seen a skyline, supra, rx-7 and a s2000 race around a block, and then have a skyline just over the spura while jumping over a bridge? psh, it's as common as trees around here ::D

the beginning of the the first movie sucked, it was bad, but towards the end it got good, and I actually enjoyed it.

As for 2 fast 2 furious... I watched it for the first time 2 days ago, and I can't remember a damn thing from it...

well, i have to say that i do own both dvds (dont hit me). i don't endorse rice, but like a few people have said, they entertained me which is really what a movie is all about, right?

i didn't notice glaring inaccuracies, but then again i'm not a mechanic. the boat thing in 2fast was gay though, as was the backwards driving.

the first one was better though, i think that's fairly obvious. the black civics were indeed sweet.

but ultimately, we have to put our elitist pride aside and admit that minus the stickers, these cars are definitely sweet and professionally modded to boot, an ideal medley of practical performance and sexy curves.

kind of like your mom. dizzamn.

I blame the change in directors and loss of Vin Diesel for the lack of quality in the acting in the 2nd movie. And Yorb is right, minus the stickers the cars were pretty cool if you ask me. I read an interview with the technical advisor for the movies and he said he was consulted very little and even he had a better plot. He wanted to see Vin Diesel and Paul Walker caught in the middle of a drug scheme being run by a "Yakuza"(sp?) style japanese mafia. All in all, I would have to say I enjoyed both movies.

the movie put me to sleep, i was watching it over a friends house and i think i left before it was over. the only cars i thought were kind of cool (besides the girls s2000, for a girl of course =)) were the older muscle cars and some of the other stuff like the viper. i thought that the eclipse was a horrible pair for the evo. and why did they use a 7 and not an 8 anyway. maybe it was that long ago, i never paid attention to when the movie came out.

one thing i did think was interesting was the driving they did behind the scenes to prepair for the movie, its on the extra scenes on the dvd. tyrease blew an engine because he drove the car so hard, he almost looked like he knew what he was doing, or at least has done a few burnouts in his time.

i think the first actually had a fairly decent story. what annoyed me about it was the lame actors and their stupid lines and 'dolphin face' diesel acting like he knew wtf he was talkin about. i think a similar story with better actors woulda made it twice as good. it DID have good stunt scenes, ill give it that. the 2nd one was just stupid and.. yeah just stupid.

I didn't read most the posts because I don't want to waste my time. The 2nd one was not as good as the 1st. The 1st one gave me a want to get into the import scene. Thankfully by the time I could drive I had unriced. Tyrese's "typical black guy" role made me want to shove a pencil into my eye. The fact that a fugitive cop could somehow import and supe up an R34 GT-R was annoying. Not to mention they let him off in the end or whatever. I saw an article on the cars and the fastest one was the ugly pink S2000 which did like a 13 second 1/4 mile. If I wanted to see a movie full of thongs and a retarded plot I would've watched "Lords of the G-Strings."
