2 cooling system questions

i have a 1990 ka24e and im wondering what would happen if i plugged my autometer water temp gauge into the stock water temp gauge location.

and what is normal operating temp for a ka24de?

any help is appreciated.

If you plugged it in to the same location it should read fine.

And as far as your operating temp,i dont know the exact number.Sorry

For some reason i wanna say 180* but idk,find out confirm that info before you use that as a guide.That almost seems to low.

180 is just about perfect for normal driving.
