I personally like all of Jim's pics. He did a better job of keeping distractions out of the background and has a good eye for composition and lighting. Very nicely done.

thanks alot fellas. car is at the shop again getting some little BS finished that they didnt have time to get. like making up power steering lines. the 6 puck + no power steering kicked my *** last weekend. i'll have a cheapie HID kit too when i get it back. for some reason its running pig rich right now, so thats another thing thats being looked into. im out of town all week, so it makes it easier being away from the car.

once again the pics + cameras. Grant shoots with: Canon Rebel XTi w/ Tamron lense.Jim shoots with: Canon Rebel XT w/ aftermarket lense and junk also.

the next shoot should have some of my own pics. i'll be shootin with a Rebel XTi using the stock lense. im jealous of their lenses, but f*** it. maybe some day. again, thanks guys.

Great car but amazing pictures. Your friends have some impressive camera equipment. It seems they used a polorize filter too.

Even though the camera/lens is good, they have an eye for good composition and background choice. Well done.

Now go and enter the Calendar competition with those shots, before we smack you.

BTW, for those intrested in very good car photography, check out this link

http://forums.dieselstation.co...um=11

.

Be careful though, if you get into it, you'll be tempted to dump alot of money into camera equipment.........but you can make it back if you're any good.

oh yeah, btw, you need to change your sig pic.

Also, were these touched up in photoshop any? What I mean is, were teh backgrounds made to be slightly outta focus so the car "pops" out at you?

Know what I mean?

Next up, make a rig, get a van and get some moving shots.

Sweet pics man! Your car looks super clean. The ONLY thing I'd recommend is to remove your wiper arms, and give them a re-spray. It looks like the paint on them is wearing off just like mine did.
