2 battery?

if i link two battery together in a series ciruit i would get 24 volt right? and if i put that into my car it'll work an won't blow up things that uses 12 volt right?

your alterator only puts out 14v's i believeare you gonna add a second alternator?

no i am not...but i'll just have to run the car longer to recharge both battery. or i'll upgrade the alternator that puts out a more charges.

Just curious, why do you need 24V in your car? If you wired it up that way, you'd blow out pretty much every piece of silicon and filament (electronics and lights) in your car....(electronics need smoke to work, if you let the smoke out, they stop working...:) )

If you need more overall "lasting power", you can hook them up in parallel, that'll give you the same voltage as a single battery, but (theoretically) the sum of the battery current ratings.

But, even this is overkill unless you have some amazingly power hungry stereo and have a huge alternator....
