2.5s CVT W/ Nitrous :)

So i do have a few questions for the mechanically inclined out there. Would the CVT transmission be able to hold up pushing a 50 or 75 shot of nitrous? The reason i ask is cause there is a HP cap on the car before the belt slips on acceleeration. Would i run into this problem if i nitrous'ed the car?

Without a tune the engine might react strange to the instant hp increase, the CVT too....I thought about it too but no one has tried it yet. Maby rent a 2.5 for the weekend and do some testing

it owuld be a wet setup and he would tune the timing a tiny bit. He said there shouldnt be any problems but hes going to test drive it to see how it reacts..

I would love too if i could afford it.. Dropping 1200$ on nitrous isnt exactly cheap and too pay the extra for setup on a rental plus testing.. too much $$$. Was hoping you guys had some insight as to whether the car could handle the sudden HP increase of a 50 shot of nitrous in a wet system..

you should be able to run a single-fogger dry system at about 50 with no additional adjustments or modifications, but anything higher than that, you'll have to retard your timing and run 2 step colder sparkplugs.
