2.5s CVT Horsepower rating

Can anyone get me the official specs on this transmission ? im having a hard time finding them on the internet

From my personal experience the cvt can handle basic bolt ons no problem like headers an intake and exhaust as well as a plug in tuner which together adds roughly 30 hp. I know people who try to boost or try nitrous set ups on the2.5cvt have problems. Hope that helps.

The 2.5 CVT isn't worth pushing past bolt ons, as cbelshner has said. The 3.5 is a better CVT, but still can't handle much more than bolt ons from what the 3.5 puts out power wise.

Short answer: 175hp.
