You'll take the SI off the line but he'll win....The TC you should beat from a stop... I used to lose in top end to a TC when i had a SE-R.And i dunno about the tacoma...

thanks the tacoma is a trd so it go 260hp with 240tque but its a double cab so it is huge and heavy so the tc is a gonner and the si is off the linethanks.

i've raced and beat both. had a hard time with the scion though idk why.. and the si got spanked off the line but around 80 he caught up and whooped me.. but my then i was hesitant and slowed down

Yeah, same here. Si caught me at around 78 and then we had to slow down.

It's the other way around 236HP and 266ft lb , if it was the 2 door lighter version with just 2wd, he would probably give you a run for the money, but if he has the full 4wd and double cab, which he does as you stated TRD version you should be able to beat him easy.
