ok i got some questions on a project i want to do... i got a 03 2.5 & ive been wanting to swap out to a 3.5, is it possible if so whats needed? can the same trans be used cause i dont want cvt? .. also looking into changing the the inside as well like changing the full dash console to a se-r console is that possible? i know i would have to change the door liners to use the dash to fit flush when doors are closed.. so is this all possible?

appreciate any help, thanx.

Oh I am sure it is all possible. Someone else on the forum already did the transmission swap on their 08. The only thing is it will will probably cost you more then it would going and buying one already built that way. I would shop around and see what you can get for your car and see how much a 3.5 with a 6 speed will run you and worry about dash after that.

well i got a good price for vq35 rebuilt off a 06 $1100k but it doesnt come with trans. i havent found any se-r in the junk yards to pick of parts. also they reason i dont want to shop for another car is cause i dont want another monthly bill & last time i was going to trade my car in i was offered $4-5k for it, it should go for more just cause its never been in a accident + retouched paint job last yr, 1 owner it has no body damage engine only has 78k since i got a new engine in 06 after hydro lock cause of CAI sucked in water & broke 2 pistons... anyway full specs: full tein electronic coil overs, jim wolf cams, stillen headers, tsudo full exhasut sys, unorthodox pullys, suspension tech sway bars, racingline sturt bar, sun grounding sys, upgraded calipers to se-r f/b w/ d/s rotors... its a fun car but very clean so i think $4-5k is way to low if i wanted to trade it in beside i put to much work in it.. i have thought about a turbo kit but $4500k is abit to steep for me not including install & there's no way a ebay kit would even last.. ok well ill do the engine first and see about the inside later.

Throw up some pics of your car! Sounds like you've done some wrench time!
