2.5 swapping to side mirror w/ turn signal?

Hi all. I want to swap my plain 2.5 side mirrors for the 3.5 side mirrors with turn signals. I have a 2012 coupe 2.5S, so I'm assuming I'm prewired for them? Would this just be simply removing the old side mirror entirely and plugging in the new ones? Does the wiring need to be touched at all?

Not sure, I just thought we were prewired for everything lol

Some 08's are and some aren't prewired. I believe there is a write up somewhere in the forums on how to check if yours is or isn't.

Yesterday, I just swaped my old plain side mirrors for the fold-away and signal side mirrors. I have a 2012 Altima coupe 2.5 S, and they were NOT prewired. Only ones that were was the power mirror. For the signal, I had to relay from my blinker light to the side mirror blinker. Fun job...
