Im getting the 2008 2.5 with the SL and connection packages and i was wondering if that set up comes with pre-wiring for fog lights so all i would have to do is buy the fog lights and the steering cloumn switch?

I don't think it comes prewired for fogs but it might be easier and cheaper just to wire up the fogs to the parking lights. Follow this link http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread/322446

I'm sure they will, but they will charge you an arm and a leg to do it plus the new light stalk.

Buy the fogs+wiring kit+switch=$150 at most. A wiring kit isn't to expensive and then just put a switch somewhere in the car so you can turn them on or off at will. I just have them spliced into the parking lights. I can my fogs+low+hi if I wanted to but if you get the real deal you can only have 4 lights on at the same time.

i would but i read this post (http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread/322446) and it just seems like too much work with the wiring and i wont feel comfortable doing that on my new car.

Get a local car shop to do it for you. Print out the info in that thread and take it to them, but they should probably already know what to do.

Well probably $100 an hour for labor plus the light stalk which is like $125 and who knows what else they'll want to charge you for.

Any decent stereo installation shop should be able to do it for less than $200 labor.
