2.5 Nismo Cat-back Exhaust with Fujita on LBC.. No Pics yet..

Ok, so i had got the nismo catback a few weeks ago on ebay... been waiting to put it on... and on friday my tech gave me a call to bring it over... upon getting to his house, well... he had several cars parked in the driveway, its usually empty, anyways it was around 10pm when i got there and i didnt have a good angle to get in, but i tried to wing it... i stopped and was like.. hmm maybe i should roll down the window to get a better look... as i rolled it down, well i saw it was too late, and the back end of a neon was rubbing my passenger door... yada yada yada. I was very upset... Joe (nissan tech) was consoling me telling me hed get it fixed and whatnot, and when i took a look at it... it essentially was all paint from the neon and rubbed off with my fingers! (ill have it buffed this week to see if theres any lasting effects)...

But once we pulled it in the car dock we started the install (i would have taken pics, but i thought i was just dropping it off there to get installed later, so i didnt have my camera)..

It was super simple, and although i was wearing a pink golfshirt (i do it for the ladies lol) he insisted i help him, and take off my womanly shirt

It was very simple, and without any instructions any clown could figure out what needs to be done... i never realized that the exhaust hangars were rubber like that... and one of them wasnt needed...

Before we finished we fired it up without any pipe connected and woah momma is all i can say....

LBC, wheres the pics? (is what someone will say) but im holding off... i picked up a D40 with the 15-55 lens, and the 55-200 lens (not sure what it does yet lol).. so im gonna wait till the car show on saturday to post all the wonderful pics from the car show here on long island (you better come out!)...

My impressions on the exhaust: it does sound sweet, as far as a comparison to other kits for the coupe, im not really "informed" as the differences in each, and i know youtube doesnt do any of them justice... What i DO know is that it is significantly louder than the 3.5

Faster? To tell you the truth i have no idea, its hard to separate the sound from the situation

As far as specific questions, well ask away, and ill try and help answer as best i can, and anyone at the show next week will be able to further explain their thoughts..

Hahaha, pink shirts were going out of style when I left the east coast 3 years ago. They have got to be done by now

one ?- what do you mean its louder than the 3.5? do you mean that a 2.5 w/ nismo is louder than 3.5 w/ nismo? if thats the case I wonder why? probably a dumb question but oh well lol.

Not really, the overall loudness of the sound has more to do with how the engine is actually put together than the overall displacement of the engine. Perfect example, ive heard plenty of straight piped 600cc bikes that are louder than my 953cc with the exhuast off at the mid-pipe haha.

Off that note now, any videos of this or at least a sound clip? Im dying for an exhaust, but I absolutely refuse to own a vehicle that sounds like a bumble bee buzzing around inside a megaphone... (Having a heavy eye on the stillen kit right now ) If not Ill probly do something custom like I have on all my other vehicles, just not sure how my "usual" setup will sound on an I4.. its always been on V8 Chevy's in the past...

If you read the OP, ill post pics on saturday after the show... theres video on youtube already, you cant capture the true sound on video..

exactly, thats why i also asked if it has that bumblebee buzzing around inside a megaphone sound :p. Ill run up a search and see what it sounds like in the vid for a reference though. Im thinking before I do anything Ill just unhook the axle back and see what that sounds like to see if I even want to put an aftermarket setup on.. I may prefer to keep the mighty I4 silent haha
